Ladies-Only courses

The CfBT Oman British Training Institute offers 45-hour Ladies-Only courses. These are held either in the morning, 10.00-11.30, or the afternoon, 13.30-15.00 over 10 weeks. The lessons take place on three days a week (Saturday, Monday and Wednesday). Students follow a General English course and have the opportunity to improve their reading, writing, listening and speaking skills in English and expand their knowledge of grammar and vocabulary appropriate to their level.

The BTI teachers are all fully-trained, internationally-qualified teachers of English who give advice on how to study effectively. Students also have the opportunity to use the internet and do computer–based activities as a part of their language learning. Only female teachers will be assigned to Ladies-Only courses.

All students must take a Placement Test at the BTI to ensure that they are placed in a group appropriate to their current level of English. Placement Tests are held each week on Saturday to Wednesday: 08.30-10.00 & 15.00-17.30 and Thursday: 08.30-11.30. A fee of R.O.5 is charged for this service
