Work for CfBT in Oman

We currently have vacancies for English Language Instructors at the CfBT Oman British Training Institute

Minimum qualifications:
-  Native English speaker or of that standard
-  Degree: BA in an appropriate subject.
-  English language teaching qualification: minimum CELTA or equivalent.
-  Three years' relevant post-ELT-qualified status teaching experience.
-  Experience of working overseas, preferably in the Middle East.

Remuneration:
A remuneration package current during 2009, which allows for a comfortable standard of living in the prevailing conditions in Oman, includes:

1.  Monthly salary, including allowances, of OR1,009

2.  End-of-year bonus: 50% of basic monthly salary

3.  All payments are currently tax-free in Oman.

Other benefits:

1. Air tickets to and from base country, at the beginning and end of contract, for the Instructor.

2. Private medical insurance for the Instructor.

3. 30 calendar days’ annual leave, plus public holidays.

4. Sick leave and compassionate leave according to Omani law.

5. Initial one-year contract  renewable by mutual agreement (subject to satisfactory performance).
